Abstract
Ciò che continua a legarmi al teatro credo che sia l’esperienza d’essere in una terra lontana o straniera e contemporaneamente nei confini ristretti d’un paese che volere o volare è mio. Credo che mi leghi anche la voglia di non trovarmi ad assistere alla dissipazione del mio paese. Non alla sua scomparsa, ma a molto meno e un poco peggio. E quindi il titolo “Contro la dissipazione del nostro teatro” potrebbe andare?
I believe that what continues to tie me to the theatre is the experience of being both in a distant or foreign land and within the narrow borders of a country to which, like it or not, I belong. What binds me to the theatre is, also, my desire to avoid being a witness to the waste of my country. Not to its disappearance, but to something less and slightly worse than that. Therefore, could the title “Against the waste of our theatre” fit?
